3 rd International Symposium on Venous Interventions. Focus on Acute and Chronic Deep Vein Obstruction

Dear Colleques and Friends,

on behalf of the Polish Society of Phlebology, it is a great honour and pleasure to invite You to Cracow in Poland to the 3rd International Symposium on Venous Interventions on 5th and 6th of December 2014. For the second time, the main topic of the symposium will be an endovascular treatment of the acute and chronic venous obstruction. The venue of the conference will be Audytorium Maximum of the Jegiellonian University in Cracow and for the participants a special program dedicated deep vein obstruction endovascular treatment has been arranged. Currently, endovascular procedures are an important part of the modern phlebology, vascular surgery and interventional radiology. The growing experience as well as the technical progres and innovations led to the development of the new and very succesfull treatment modalities. During Cracow Internatonal Symposium on Venous Interventions we want to focus on the deep vein system pathology and on the possibilities of the endovascular treatment of acute and chronic deep vein obstruction. We hope that in the program and in the lectures of the world well- known experts, there will be many subjects of interest for You as well as many important messages to take home regarding the possibility of invasive treatment of the venous pathology. In the very intensive program of the Symposium You will find many state of art lectures as well as the presentations concerning personal experince of the world leading Experts in this field. It is our hope that it will be an occasion for interesting scientific discussion finally leading into further cooperation across borders. Cracow, former capital of Poland is a magnificient city with wonderful Old Town, and amaizing atmosphere. The meeting venue is just a walking distance from historical center of the city and Main Square. I hope, you will be able to enjoy the highest quality of the science but also the great taste of the atmosphere of this beautiful city.
