The 4th international conference Medical Review Auschwitz: Medicine Behind the Barbed Wire is already behind us. This year’s event was a rather special one, as it marked the 5th anniversary of the launching of the Medical Review Auschwitz project. It was also accompanied by the 1st edition of our Scholarship Program, providing training in bioethics and the history of medicine during the Holocaust with top experts for medical students and physicians in training.

We would like to thank all the speakers for their invaluable contributions to the program. Thanks are in order also to all our guests and participants who make all our efforts worthwhile.

As we are wrapping up the experiences gathered this year, we can assure you that the next year’s conference is already in the works. More details will be announced soon.
