On February 13, 2025, a ceremonial signing of a publishing agreement between the Jagiellonian University - Collegium Medicum and the Publishing House Medycyna Praktyczna took place. The purpose of the cooperation is to resume the publication of ‘Przegląd Lekarski’. This oldest scientific medical journal in Poland, published since 1862, will now carry the title ‘Przegląd Lekarski - Jagiellonian Medical Review.’

On the part of the university, the document was signed by the Jagiellonian University's Vice-Rector for Medical College Prof. Maciej Małecki, while the publishing house was represented by its president Wiesław Latuszek-Łukasiewicz.

The Editor-in-Chief of the new Przegląd Lekarski - Jagiellonian Medical Review will be Dr. Aleksander Siniarski of the Department of Coronary Artery Disease and Heart Failure at Jagiellonian University Medical College.

The editorial team also includes Assoc. Prof. Mikołaj Przydacz, MD, from the Department of Urology at UJ CM (Deputy Editor-in-Chief), Assoc. Prof. Michał Ząbczyk, MD, UJ, from the Department of Congestive and Thrombotic Diseases at UJ CM (Editor of the Basic Science section), and Joanna Łępicka (editor from Medycyna Praktyczna).
