Dear colleagues,

I hope you have rested well during the summer, restored your energy and strength, and are ready for new challenges. For the editorial team of Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques (VSJ), it was an extremely busy and difficult period. We have moved to a new publisher, which from July 2024 is Medycyna Praktyczna. We believe that we will now be able to offer you even more professional services and assist you better with publishing the results of your scientific activities. On the other hand, we ask for your patience and understanding, since reaching full speed requires some time and small jams may occur, for which we apologize in advance. With great pleasure, we present a new issue of VSJ, which, as usual, is very diverse in terms of topics. You will find here 4 highly valuable meta-analyses, including ones on fluid resuscitation in surgery and antiseptics in prevention of surgical site infections. We encourage you to send us more reviews of this type, as we try to prioritize them. The current issue lists also a dozen or so papers on general surgery, including 4 on thoracic surgery and 3 on urology. We sincerely hope you will find them interesting.
We count on your even greater scientific activity. We are waiting for your papers so that together we would present them to the entire world of medicine.
