The summer holidays are behind us, and I hope you all had a well‑deserved rest after another year of hard surgical work. Our editorial team did not pause its activities, and over the past quarter, we have prepared another issue of Videosurgery for you. This edition is a classic example of the multidisciplinary nature of our journal. As usual, we begin with a meta‑analysis—this time focused on minimally‑invasive treatment of spinal pathologies, which has also become the central theme of the current issue. We hope this will encourage neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons to join our community of regular readers and contributors. The general surgery section, in turn, is dominated by review‑format articles that comprehensively address specific problems surgeons may encounter in daily practice. Among them are the issue of hernia mesh migration near the esophageal hiatus, the use of indocyanine green in colorectal surgery, and a surgical analysis of adrenal hemorrhages. This issue also includes a technical note supported by video material. We strongly encourage you to enrich your submissions with such formats, as the modern structure of Videosurgery allows for virtually unlimited technical presentation of your clinical content. We warmly invite you to collaborate with our editorial team and remind you that we are open to jointly refining your scientific analyses for publication.
See you at the autumn congresses and surgical meetings!
Kindest regards
Prof. Jacek Szeliga
VSJ Editor‑in‑Chief
