Marcin Owsiński, PhD, is a historian and the director of the Research Department at the Stutthof Museum. He authored numerous article and several books on the modern history of the Danzig Pomerania, the Stutthof concentration camp and education at memorial sites. His research interests revolve around history and memory in the context of the fate of KL Stutthof prisoners and the interplay between the camp and memorial sites on the one side, and the local and regional communities on the other.
