MIRCIM 2026: The 11th edition of the McMaster International Review Conference of Internal Medicine

From May 7–9, 2026, the ICE Congress Centre will host the 11th edition of the McMaster International Review Conference of Internal Medicine (MIRCIM), a prestigious international educational event for physicians and trainees seeking evidence-based knowledge presented in an accessible way. The only McMaster-led event in Europe, it is a truly unique conference attracting doctors and medical students from dozens of countries thanks to the outstanding program and flawless execution.

MIRCIM 2026 features 11 clinical sessions with over 60 internationally renowned speakers, including pioneers of groundbreaking research and authors of international clinical practice guidelines. Each session is designed to deliver the latest developments across multiple fields, ensuring participants leave with up-to-date, practical knowledge applicable to everyday patient care.

New this year: MIRCIM Open call for abstracts
For the first time, MIRCIM is inviting submissions through the open call for abstracts, welcoming original research abstracts, including observational and experimental studies, meta-analyses, and case series. All accepted abstracts will be displayed as posters during MIRCIM 2026 and published in the Book of Abstracts. This is an outstanding opportunity to share your work with an international audience of peers and experts.

Running in parallel with MIRCIM, AI in Medicine 2026 will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, data scientists, healthcare innovators, and policy-makers to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Organized in collaboration with the Oxford Big Data Institute, and the Interdisciplinary Health Data Center of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, the conference aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and clinical application, turning promising algorithms into practical tools that improve patient care.

This three-day satellite event will feature keynote lectures from internationally recognized experts, interactive sessions showcasing the latest research, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge AI applications from academia, clinics, and industry.
