Welcome to the new Social Media Editor

The editors and all members of the editorial team are happy to welcome the new Social Media Editor of Polish Archives of Internal Medicine, Doctor Anna Imiela.

Dr. Anna Maria Imiela, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist and researcher, currently working as an Assistant at the Medical University of Warsaw. With a strong background in internal diseases and cardiology, she has gained extensive clinical experience at the Infant Jesus Teaching Hospital and the National Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw. Her research interests focus on the interplay between inflammation, molecular biology, and cardiovascular diseases, with involvement in prestigious scientific projects, including studies on the kynurenine pathway and aldosterone secretion. A recipient of multiple academic awards and scholarships, Dr. Imiela has also pursued postgraduate studies in biostatistics and molecular biology.

We look forward to her contributions to expanding the reach of our journal in social media and thus fostering the growth of internal medicine. With her expertise, together with our current Social Media Editor, Dr. Zbigniew Heleniak, we hope to engage a wider audience and promote the latest advancements in the field. Welcome aboard!
