In the Research Letter entitled “Misfortunes do not come in pairs in patients with active moderate‑to‑severe Graves’ orbitopathy” published in the June 2024 issue (Sawicka‑Gutaj N, Gruszczyński D, Zawalna N, et al. Pol Arch Intern Med. 2024; 134: 16773. doi:10.20452/pamw.16773), in the Results section, the sentence “We observed that TRAb and TGAb levels were lower in the GO patients with OAIDs (P = 0.16 and P = 0.32, respectively).” should have read “We observed that TRAb and TGAb levels were lower in the GO patients with OAIDs (P = 0.16 and P = 0.32, respectively, without statistical significance).” Also, in the same section, the sentence “Moreover, 40 randomly selected patients displayed negative ZnT8 antibody status (median level, 8.9 U/ml), irrespective of the presence or absence of OAID.” should have read “Moreover, 40 randomly selected patients displayed negative ZnT8 antibody status (median level, 8.9 U/ml [IQR, 8.6–8.9]), irrespective of the presence or absence of OAID.”
