We would like to invite internists (up to 35 years of age) or senior trainees in internal medicine in the last two years of training representing national societies of internal medicine or other institutions that are the official partners of the 8th McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine (MIRCIM) to take part in the Best Case Report Contest.

Twenty best case reports are selected by the international jury and will be presented by authors during the “Clinical Cases in Internal Medicine: Learning Through Practice” conference. The poster session is organized as part of the 8th MIRCIM. Each partner can endorse up to 10 case reports for the contest. Reports are selected by the partner (for instance, through internal qualification). Submissions must be made before February 28, 2023.

Main prize:

  • €1000
  • publication in the Polish Archives of Internal Medicine (PAIM), IF of 5.218 (see abstracts from 2022: BCRC 2022)
  • free attendance and accommodation at MIRCIM 2024
  • free attendance at ECIM 2024
  • one case report selected from the oral presentations will be awarded publication in the European Journal of Case Reports in Internal Medicine.

The prerequisite for participation in the competition is a positive recommendation of the Polish Society of Internal Medicine (for Polish members only).
