La Vita plays tango music like no one else in Poland. They had been recognized as early as in their high school years, when they won the first prize at an international competition in Italy in the category of Astor Piazolla’s music. In 2012, they recorded they first album “Tango Nuevo by Astor Piazzolla.” For the past few years, their concerts have fired up the audiences not only in Poland but also in the whole of Europe. Their guest performances are often the main events during many galas and ceremonies.
“Around Tango” is a spectacular recital encompassing original compositions and melodies known and beloved by all generations! We will hear not only the most known tangos of the world but also the admired pre-war Polish tangos in modern musical arrangements. What is more, the band will perform unique tango versions of international hits, which include “Libertango”, “La Cumparsita”, “Billie Jean”, “Englishman in New York”, “Money, Money, Money”, and some Polish favorites.
“Tango Nuevo” by Astor Piazzolla – a concert of the most popular works by the master of tango. A fusion of Argentinian tango, jazz, and Jewish and classical music. An extraordinarily emotional, expressive and fiery mix. Acoustic tango at its finest.
Tango Electro – a new genre, tango of the 21st century. Original compositions and covers with beats and elegant electronic music. Interaction of synthesizers with the sounds of acoustic instruments. A new perspective on club music.
