W aktualnych zaleceniach podkreślono rolę masek jako jednego z wielu elementów kompleksowej strategii zapobiegania transmisji SARS-CoV-2 w przestrzeni publicznej. Zwrócono także szczególną uwagę na metody podnoszące skuteczność masek ochronnych.
